Indonesia’s Role in Wuling’s Success
The Cikarang factory plays a crucial role in Wuling’s global production, producing 40,000 EV units. This achievement highlights Indonesia’s capacity as a producer and its integration into the international supply chain. The presence of Wuling’s production facilities in Indonesia also complements the local EV ecosystem, accelerating the country’s sustainability goals through vehicle electrification.
Localizing EV Battery Assembly
Wuling Indonesia is the first Chinese automotive manufacturer to localize EV battery assembly in the country. This development enables an integrated EV production system, accelerating vehicle unit production, reducing spare parts distribution time, and lowering logistics costs. The company introduced the MAGIC Battery, which integrates the latest technologies for high performance and security, featuring five main aspects: Multifunction Unitized Structure Technology (MUST), Advanced Cell Safety, Greater Performance, Intelligent Management, and Combustion Free.
