Introduction of Xiaomi YU7
Xiaomi EV has unveiled its first SUV, the Xiaomi YU7, a name inspired by the Chinese term meaning “going with the wind.” Positioned as a high-performance luxury SUV, the YU7 targets the independent, confident, and dynamic elite. Unlike a simple taller version of the Xiaomi SU7, the YU7 is a completely reimagined SUV that stands out with its bold identity.
Design Language
The Xiaomi YU7 inherits the brand’s commitment to beauty while introducing its own elegant styling. It measures 4999 mm (L) × 1996 mm (W) × 1600 mm (H) with a 3000 mm wheelbase. The design incorporates a 3.11㎡ aluminum clamshell hood, the largest among mass-produced vehicles, and a 141 L front electric trunk supporting up to 8 opening modes. The SUV is available in three vibrant colors: Emerald Green, Titanium Silver, and Orange Lava. The standout Emerald Green finish is achieved through a complex double-coat painting system.

Interior and Technology
The YU7’s interior is designed according to the “Dual-Zone Surround Luxury Cabin” philosophy, combining technology, luxury, and comfort. It features the industry-first Xiaomi HyperVision panoramic display, creating an “aircraft cockpit” experience. The cabin offers generous space with 100 mm of headroom in the front and 77 mm in the rear, thanks to Xiaomi’s advanced CTB battery technology.
Performance and Range
The Xiaomi YU7 boasts a maximum power output of 690 hp and 508 kW, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.23 seconds. It is powered by the newly developed Xiaomi HyperEngine V6s Plus technology, which uses segmented magnetic steel to reduce losses and increase efficiency. The SUV is available in three variants – Standard, Pro, and Max – offering ranges of up to 835 km (CLTC).
Safety Features
The YU7 features a fully upgraded Armor-Cage hybrid steel-aluminum body structure with enhanced frontal collision energy absorption and rear collision resistance. It also includes advanced safety features like LiDAR and a new-generation NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor™ computing platform with 700 TOPS of computing power.
The Xiaomi YU7 starts at EUR 32,000, offering a blend of luxury, performance, and advanced technology in the electric SUV segment.
