Recently, Yamaha showcased a demo unit of the C580 model from this lineup in a video. The Diapason C580 Concept is a small, two-seater EV UTV designed for tasks such as hauling goods or snow removal. Its simplicity and cuteness draw comparisons to popular kei trucks. The concept vehicle is powered by Honda’s existing Mobile Power Pack e: system. While there’s no official announcement about its production, the recent video release suggests that Yamaha is still considering the C580’s potential. The video includes both footage of a demonstrator unit and AI-generated animations showing the vehicle’s possible uses. Although it’s uncertain whether the C580 will enter production or be released outside Japan, its practicality and charm make it an intriguing concept.
