Chasing Cars travelled to Hangzhou, China, to test the 7X and explore its features, performance, and potential in the Australian market.
Key Features and Pricing
The Zeekr 7X is available in three grades in China: Premium RWD, Long Range RWD, and Performance AWD. Standard equipment includes 19-inch alloy wheels, matrix LED headlights, leather upholstery, and a 21-speaker premium stereo. Optional features include air suspension, Akebono performance brakes, and nappa-grade leather upholstery. Australian pricing is expected to start around $70,000-$90,000 before on-road costs.
Driving Experience
The 7X’s driving experience is characterized by its smooth and refined powertrain, quiet cabin, and comfortable front seats. The Long Range RWD variant tested on public roads demonstrated a plush and approachable demeanor, while the Performance AWD model showed impressive acceleration and handling on a closed gymkhana track. However, the ride needs an Australian retune to better handle local road conditions.

The Zeekr 7X’s interior is designed to feel like a traditional vehicle, with a focus on ergonomics and practicality.
