Zuckerberg’s Automotive Adventures
Ten years ago, the idea of Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook and Meta, becoming a car enthusiast would have seemed far-fetched. But the landscape has changed significantly, and in 2024, Zuckerberg has made headlines in the automotive world, twice over the weekend alone.
He’s been spotted daily driving a Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing and, more notably, he’s had a custom ‘minivan’ commissioned from West Coast Customs – known for their work on ‘Pimp My Ride.’
According to Zuckerberg, the project was inspired by his wife Priscilla’s desire for a minivan. Understandably, a minivan’s practicality is hard to beat, especially with a family. However, Zuckerberg wanted something with more performance than the average family hauler.

A Custom Porsche ‘Minivan’
Zuckerberg’s solution was to turn a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT—an already high-performing SUV—into a custom minivan. West Coast Customs significantly modified the vehicle. They cut the Cayenne Turbo in half and extended the middle section, giving it a limousine-like appearance. Most notably, the SUV now features sliding rear doors, a key characteristic of minivans. The interior appears to have three rows of seats, with captain’s chairs in the second row, taken from the front seats of a standard Cayenne Turbo.
In terms of practicality, this isn’t your everyday minivan. With its extended wheelbase, maneuvering in tight spaces, like school parking lots, might be challenging. However, the vehicle packs a punch with its 650-horsepower, 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, making it likely the quickest three-row vehicle around.
Beyond the ‘minivan’, Zuckerberg also recently took delivery of a manual 911 GT3. When you’re worth approximately $206 billion, such automotive indulgences are within reach.
